The Australian criminal lady is back on the screens flogging
Lexus cars to rich businessmen with no taste, and toothless wide boys with no
money. Mundane personified, dweeb-dwarf bore Kylie Minogue, has appeared in a
couple of adverts in her time, but this time the ridiculously wealthy ‘singer’,
has joined a bunch of ‘musicians’ who really, really, really need the money: As
Campaign Live comments: ‘The
soundtrack to the ad features famous drummers, including Pauli Stanley McKenzie
from Gorillaz, ex-Smiths sticks man Mike Joyce, Joji Hirota and the Taiko
Drummers, and big band aficionado Vince Dunn.’ How fulfilling it must feel for
these desperately sad sell-out creeps to be able to ease the sales process for
Lexus.
Vacuous and
dreary as Kylie Minogue might appear to all but the severely limited, her
advertising jobs have showed just how low she will go for money. In 2006, she
rode a gymnast’s horse in ‘erotic’ underwear in order to hawk agent provocateur
lingerie to a permissive society....
